Some people may wonder why all of our Sapphires are untreated, and if so, it is a good question, and the answer is simple. We are from Montana and either mined, or purchased mine select from Miners. I cut my own gems, and the cost of heat treating a gem was out of the question, so we never did. No once. We couldn't afford it. Plus we really like all natural gems. Now we are really glad we didn't.
This Sapphire is from El-Dorado Bar. Their stones often have a Blue Green effect which we call teal, and even though this one leans more towards the green, there still is a slight background hue of blue. It is a nice Sapphire, and would make an excellent ring or pendant stone. It is 7 X 5 mm and would require no custom work. It will fit into any pre-made gold setting. We also have a great price on this gem.
